Another winner from Blue Apron! Glad they kept it simple for this one, although I do enjoy the more exotic recipes as well. I guess I’m just starving for some carbs in my regular diet (I stick to high protein, low carbs for body building), so it’s cool to have an excuse to pig out on carbs from time to time.
Hey, it’s for work, right?
The recipe is really simple. Veggies, pasta, chicken, cream sauce, and parmesan cheese. Actually, the cream sauce is just a little creme fraiche so there’s nothing really complicated about this recipe at all. The only thing that takes a little time is cutting up the chicken.
Always start your pasta first! That’s going to take the longest to cook. Be sure to cook it al dente though (not 100% cooked through) since it will continue to cook and soften even after you pour out the water, especially since you’re adding cream sauce.
I love pictures of pasta! Don’t know why, but it’s really fun to photograph both dry and cooked pasta.
Simple, yet tasty. Pan fried chicken seasoned with salt and pepper, mixed with chopped kale and asparagus.
Stir up everything with just a bit of the pasta brewing water you saved. Then add the creme fraiche, and stir.
Add your parmesan cheese and you’re done. It’s an easy crowd pleaser. Who can resist pasta and cheese?! Get the original recipe from Blue Apron here or browse other Blue Apron reviews from FoodForNet.
