Quick Beef Shawarma
This homemade shawarma can successfully replace the classic one. The veggies together with the cream cheese make it a healthy dish.

Beef Schwarma Filling
- 2 loaves Pita Bread
- 10 oz beef sirloin
- 1 Large Carrot
- 1/4 Head of Cabbage
- 4-6 Cherry Tomatoes
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Sauce
- 7 oz Cream Cheese
- Small Bunch of Sage Leaves
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Chop the meat into very small pieces.
Chop the cabbage very thinly.
Grate the carrot.
Slice the tomatoes.
Grease a pan with non-stick spray.
Cook the beef on all sides for 3-4 minutes.
Start assembling the shawarma: spread the sauce on the pita bread.
Add some cabbage and grated carrot.
Top with tomato slices.
Add the meat.
Roll the pita and secure with a toothpick if needed.
Sauce
Mix the cream cheese until fluffy.
Chop the sage and add it to the cheese.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir well.
