Slow Cooker Mutton Curry
This is a slow cooker adaptation of an authentic Indian mutton curry. Don't like mutton dishes? No problem. Get in any meat of your choice.

- 500 Grams Mutton
- 1 Cup Plain Yogurt
- 1 400ml can Diced Tomatoes
- 2 Tablespoons Meat Masala
- 5 Pieces Star Anise
- 1 Piece Cinnamon Bark
- 5 Pieces Black Cardamom
- 1 Teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 Piece Red Onion
- 1 2" Piece Ginger
- 1 Bulb garlic
- Salt to taste
Combine yogurt, meat masala, and salt in a bowl.
Add mutton meat and marinate overnight.
Puree garlic, ginger, and red onion into a paste.
Roast spice paste.
Roast dry spices.
Add diced tomatoes and continue roasting.
Add mutton with marinade and bring to a simmer.
Transfer to the slow cooker and leave on low for 6-8 hours.
