With Christmas fast approaching, finding suitable presents can be tricky – especially if you are shopping for someone who seems to have anyone. That challenge is also true all year round when it comes to things like birthday parties and finding good thank you gifts. Personally, I tend to look for something that is a little bit unusual, something that will make people smile.
This collection of products really is just that. All of the items in the list are sold by Etsy store owners and they are soaps that have been inspired in some way by food. Actually, there are so many creative soap stores, we made another list dedicated to creative Etsy stores selling soap, scrubs, & shampoo that look or smell like food.
In some cases, that inspiration is subtle, like the color and the scent of the soap. But, many of the soaps are much more distinctive than that. Some of them look exactly like the food they are mimicking, including bacon, eggs, donuts and cookies.
Take a look and you’ll see what I mean. Just be careful what you do with them, some of the soaps look so good that someone might actually try to take a bite.
51 Soaps That Look Like Food!
Chocolate Chip Soap Cookies

These chocolate chip cookies are pretty fun and they might even trick a few people.
Carrot Cake Goats Milk Soap

With this soap, the food is in the flavor, which uses a spice blend to resemble the smell of carrot cake – frosting included.
Bacon Soap – A Cool Gift

It’s pretty obvious that this one is soap, but enclosing bacon-like soap in a clear soap is a pretty nifty trick.
Hot Cocoa Soap Bar

Even when they’re not in a cup, this hot cocoa soap looks absolutely perfect.
Colorful Pizza Soap

This soap is modeled off the emoji, so it would be perfect for anyone who spends a bit too much time on social media or on their phones.

Here’s another example where it is all about the smell. As the name suggests, this soap smells like buttered caramel popcorn – yum.
Chocolate Fudge Soap
I love the smell of chocolate and this soap also has the advantage of looking somewhat like fudge.
Chocolate Bunny Soap

This is a fun soap, but be careful with it around kids, because it really does look like it’s made of chocolate.
Fresh Baked Bread Soap

Bread is an unusual flavor for soap, but this shop owner pulls it off by using specific fragrance oil (I didn’t even know that existed!).
Strawberry Jam Toast Soap

The texture on this soap is really clever, because the soap actually does look like jam on toast.
Apple Butter Caramel Soap
This soap doesn’t look exactly like food, but it is still pretty clear that the creator is focusing on a spiced scent.
Neapolitan Soap Popsicle

This one would be perfect as soap for kids – as long as you tell them that it’s soap.
Black Raspberry Vanilla Soap

The flavors of raspberries and vanilla always work so well together, and this soap looks like it would be a perfect option for a gift (or to treat yourself).
Giant Hershey’s Chocolate Soap
I keep thinking that this soap would be great for chocolate lovers, especially as the creator lets you pick the color and flavor that you want.
Cinnamon Bun Soaps

These soaps manage to look more like cinnamon buns than many actual cinnamon buns that I’ve seen – which is pretty impressive really.
French Macaroon Cookie Soap

These cookie soaps do look pretty cool. They also seem like a perfect size and shape to actually use as soap.
Watermelon Soap
The texture of this soap looks a bit different than most other items on this list, but that’s not a bad thing. The finished product does look pretty amazing.

These soaps kind of remind me of handmade chocolates and that elegance makes them a perfect gift option.

This soap is perfect for the holiday season and the colder weather, and it has the distinct advantage of looking great too.
Chocolate Bar Soaps

Here’s another option for chocolate lovers, although you might have to break the bar up to use it.
Apricot Delight Soap Bar
Apricot has a pretty refreshing scent, which does make it a good choice for soap – and the bar itself looks like a slice of cake, which is also pretty cool.

In an interesting twist, this soap actually uses some food ingredients, but it is still a safe and very appealing type of soap.
Peppermint Mochaccino Soap

Peppermint, chocolate and coffee, what’s not to love?

This piece really does look like a little brownie and the flavor only adds to that effect.

The poppy seeds on this soap make it a good exfoliant, while the overall smell would be very appealing.
Dill Pickle Soap

The bright green makes these pickles a bit cartoony, but that’s not a bad thing, because they’re a fun type of soap and the size is useful.
Glazed Donut Soap

This is another soap that does look quite real – and it would probably shock some people to find that you keep a donut in the shower.

It is pumpkin spice season, so this soap is a natural choice.
Lemon Meringue Pie Soap
This dessert-inspired soap is really a bit of fun and the scent is one that many people would enjoy.
Iced Cinnamon Bun Rolls

One good thing about soaps like these is that you aren’t eating them – so you can get the scent without worrying about your waistline.
Strawberry Cheesecake Soap Bar

With three layers, this soap is cleverly made and even acts as an exfoliant, so the creator has thought about scent, appearance and functionality.
Chocolate Candy Soap
This is a really fun idea for soap and it would be kind of cool in a guest bathroom or something like that.
Chocolate Cookie Soap

These cookies look pretty realistic, although I’m not sure you should keep them next to milk, just in case.

Fried Egg Soap

This soap is pure novelty, but you have to admit it’s pretty cool – and it pairs well with the bacon above.

This soap does actually use carrot juice and puree as ingredients, which means that the color you see is natural rather than artificial.
Banana Soap

I do love how realistic this banana soap is and it would probably give someone a surprise in the shower.
Sprinkle Cupcake Soaps

This final entry is the second cupcake soap on the list, but they do look great, don’t they?
