Cointreau Coffee Granita

A fun and refreshing granita that's sure to get anyone's attention. Prepare a batch for the kids using fresh orange juice in place of the Cointreau.

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Black Coffee
  • 1 Cup Cointreau
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • Zest of 2 Oranges

Instructions

  • Stir all ingredients and pour into a deep baking dish.
  • Leave in the freezer for about 3 hours.
  • Take out of the freezer and stir with a spatula.
  • Cover with cling wrap and freeze until fully set.
