Lemon Bars

Jeanine // Faithfully Gluten Free
Jeanine // Faithfully Gluten Free

These lemon bars look exactly like something you would buy from a cafe and you can’t even tell that they are gluten free. I also really like how thick the lemon layer is. I’ve tried lemon bars that have too little lemon and they simply don’t work. This recipe, from faithfullyglutenfree.com, seems to have got this ratio exactly right.

The author also links through to the non-gluten free version of the recipe which she adapted hers from. So, you could make that instead if you can eat gluten. Regardless, I think the gluten free recipe would taste great, and it certainly looks amazing.

Gina // Running to the Kitchen
Gina // Running to the Kitchen

Here is one dessert that is a little bit more unusual. This one comes from runningtothekitchen.com and it’s actually a no-bake recipe as well.

Angela // Oh She Glows
Angela // Oh She Glows

Funfetti Golden Oreo Fudge

Sally // Sally's Baking Addiction
Sally // Sally’s Baking Addiction

I love the way that this fudge is just a little bit different. Most of the time you see chocolate fudge or some other common flavors, but I don’t think

Here’s another gluten free rice pudding, but this one is a bit more traditional. If you like rice pudding, then having a simple gluten free recipe on hand is a good idea. This recipe comes from glutenfreeonashoestring.com and as you might imagine that site also contains a range of other gluten free recipes.

Chocolate Caramel Fudge

Tiffany // Living Sweet Moments

This gluten free fudge recipe makes use of chocolate and caramel flavors. I love the way that the two are combined and they do look great in the photo. Like many other recipes on this list, this is one dessert that you could serve to people who eat gluten as well as those who don’t. The recipe is from livingsweetmoments.com.

3 Ingredient Dairy Free Fudge

Kelly // The Pretty Bee
Kelly // The Pretty Bee

I had to include this fudge recipe on the list just because it is so simple. It is just chocolate fudge, but it has the advantage of using just three ingredients and not many steps.

Apple Almond Tart

Zainab // Blahnik Baker
Zainab // Blahnik Baker

I love the idea of this apple almond tart, especially as it also contains cranberry, which is one of my favorite flavors. It’s one of the most spectacular dishes in this list, especially once you slice it up.

You can see more photos of the dish over at blahnikbaker.com, along with the recipe (as you would expect).

One Pot Caramel Fudge Brownies

Rebecca // Sugar and Soul
Rebecca // Sugar and Soul

This is another recipe that looks just divine in the photo. The brownies are nice and moist, and the sauce also adds to that, which is just great. The recipe can also be made in a single pot.

That part alone makes it a good recipe to try. You can find all of the information you need for this recipe at sugarandsoul.co. This is one of the few entries on this list that isn’t naturally gluten-free but could be made so by using gluten free flour.

Caramel Fudge Bliss Balls

Ness // Becomingness
Ness // Becomingness

Bliss balls are becoming increasingly popular, and this recipe offers a nut free and gluten free version, which could be served to pretty much anyone. The bliss balls are caramel fudge flavored. Chocolate and Coconut Milk Pots

Alanna // Bojog Gourmet
Alanna // Bojon Gourmet

My favorite thing about these little chocolate pots from bojongourmet.com is that they are unusual. The flavor combination is fantastic and the recipe includes flavors of coconut, chocolate, vanilla and rum. Sound decadent yet?

Plus, they are served in small mason jars. That seems to be the perfect way to serve them, although the author notes that another option is serving them in espresso cups.

Three Layer Chocolate Cake

Isadora // She Likes Food
Isadora // She Likes Food

This recipe is a great reminder that gluten free cakes don’t have to be plain or boring. In fact, this recipe from shelikesfood.com ends up looking exactly like a normal cake. That’s a brilliant outcome, especially if you wanted to serve the cake to people who don’t like gluten free foods. Personally, I love the layers too, they really bring the whole cake together.

Crepes with Vanilla Protein Creme

Michelle // Your Healthy Hedonista
Michelle // Your Healthy Hedonista

Yes, I know, it’s another crepe recipe, but this one is a bit different. It comes from yourhealthyhedonista.com. There is also ingredients and instructions for a specific (and very appealing) filling for the crepes.

Paleo Chocolate Peppermint Patties

Tracey // Don't Mess with Mama
Tracey // Don’t Mess with Mama

This recipe is another example of taking something heavily processed and making a much healthier version. At first glance, the recipe looks complicated to make, but it really isn’t, especially as the entire thing uses just five ingredients. You have to admit that the end result does look really cool and mint chocolate always makes for a great dessert just because of how refreshing it is.

You can find the full recipe for this dessert over at dontmesswithmama.com if you’re interested in having a go for yourself.

Personally, I think these flavors would go well with homemade ice cream.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Kimberly // Darling Gourmet
Kimberly // Darling Gourmet

This recipe is another example of gluten free rice pudding, and it’s a pretty appealing example at that. The recipe comes from daringgourmet.com. I love the way they look with yogurt on the top and a little bit of garnish.

That’s enough to make the dessert look (and taste) that much more interesting. The recipe is also dairy free and vegan, although the author notes that you can change this by just substituting for regular milk and yogurt.
