Beef might seem like any other meat at first glance, but actually it isn't. You have to know how to cook it if you want to enjoy a delicious steak. If you over cook it, it will be very hard. On the other hand, if you under cook it you may not be able to eat your steak anymore. I like my beef to be medium cooked so I will give you my recipe for this delicious steak.

I love simple recipes which don't require many ingredients. This kind of recipes won't keep you too long in the kitchen, leaving you spare time to spend with your kids, husband, wife, hobbies, etc. Cook, eat, enjoy and then do whatever you want.

This beef steak recipe is exactly what I'm looking for: it is easy to prepare, it tastes delicious and all the members of the family enjoy it.

ingredients

Lightly grease your pan with cooking spray. Place the meat on the pan and leave it there for exactly 4 minutes. I usually set my timer so I can be sure that I don't mess with the time. Please resist the impulse of checking on the beef over and over again. Just leave it there and find something else to do. Like preparing the salsa.

After exactly 4 minutes, flip it over. And leave it for another 4 minutes. Set the timer again. When the time has passed, remove from the skillet and cover with a thick towel to keep it warm.

Meanwhile, as I said, you may prepare the salsa. Chop the tomatoes and transfer to a bowl, together with the juice. Chop the green part of the onion and the chile and crush the garlic. Add all these ingredients to the tomatoes, season with some salt, pour the olive oil and stir well. The salsa is ready now.

salsa

Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté the thawed cauliflower for about 5 minutes, until light brown. Make sure you drain it before placing in the pan. If not, oil bubbles may pop up in your face, causing skin burns. This is because of the chemical reaction between hot oil and water.

cauliflower

Well, your dinner is ready. Serve the steak with fried cauliflower dipped in the salsa sauce. Enjoy!

Next time I cook this recipe, I will replace the cauliflower with some wedges. I'm sure this will also be delicious.
