Today there are hundreds of thousands of children’s books, so many that it is hard to choose which ones to buy. However, if you sign up for a Children’s Book of the Month Club, you can take the chore of researching and shopping out of the equation.

These clubs are perfect for anyone looking to help grow their child’s library. The Children’s Book of the Month Clubs below are all unique, and each has its own specialty. Plus, all of the companies to find the best books for any child of all ages.

And, why not? Children’s books are important and they have an interesting past The history of children’s stories and folklore dates back before the written word, to when humans first learned to speak. However, children’s books are altogether different and were not published until much later. There have been books of ballads and short stories, but not until well after the Georgian era.

The world of children’s literature owes a big thank you to John Locke, who, during the 1600s, came up with the idea of making reading fun for kids. Locke wanted to bring joy to all areas of children’s education and came up with trailblazing ideas such as making a game out of teaching the alphabet or using picture books to help young children learn to enjoy books.

Children’s books have come a long way since they were first developed and the books in these clubs allow you to experience a wide range of styles. If these clubs aren’t enough, you could also look at other clubs suitable for kids, including some sock clubs, some tee-shirt clubs, and ice cream clubs.
