Ramen of the month clubs give you a fun way to experience ramen. We're not just talking about instant ramen you can buy at the store either. You're getting much more variety from these clubs.

The ramen noodle dish first originated in China more than 4,000 years ago, but when trade opened between China and Japan, it soon became a Japanese culinary staple. The spread of ramen didn't stop in Japan; it eventually made a short jump to Korea then spread all over the world. Today, ramen is a popular global food.

There are more than 24,000 ramen shops throughout Japan, so its no wonder that people associate ramen with traditional Japanese cuisine. Ramen eateries range from subway standing only shops and ramen carts to high-end ramen restaurants. However, most ramen stores are usually casual restaurants frequented by those of all ages and walks of life.

But what is ramen? Ramen is a typical soup dish with the primary ingredient being Chinese wheat noodles. Additionally, most ramen dishes also include broth, meat, and vegetables.

Though China is where ramen originated, traditional Chinese ramen does not use Motodare, the base sauce. Motodare was initially created by the Japanese, as a sauce for Soba noodles.

However, what makes ramen so well received worldwide is its natural versatility. Like many other global foods, ramen has no strict rules as to how it is prepared and what ingredients are used

Plus, it doesn't hurt that ramen has an instant version, making it a quick and easy dish to prepare. And, as most people know, ramen tends to be on the less expensive side.

Though technically the Cup Noodles and instant ramen packages for $0.19 are ramen, that isn't the ramen you will see in the ramen of the month subscriptions we are talking about in this article. While the ramen in these clubs is of the instant variety, it is more unique than what you would find at your average grocery store.

Umai crate is completely unreliable and their customer service is terrible. Exotic Moods is far better
